Dalite Sancic
(Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine)
Dalite Sancic graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California in 2003 with a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her education includes western physiology, Chinese herbology, nutrition, and eastern philosophy. Her internship and post-graduate studies include specialties such as, pediatrics, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, pain management, and autoimmune issues.
Dalite was introduced to acupuncture at a time in her life when her only major complaint was unrelenting pain in her knees. She found that the therapy not only relieved her pain, but that other seemingly inconsequential health issues like headaches, mild digestive irritation, and general stress, all became more manageable. She also developed an awareness of the inner workings of her body giving her more power over how she felt on a daily basis. This integration of body and mind is what Dalite strives to achieve with each patient.
Dalite enhances her practice regularly with continuing education in areas such as Facial Rejuvenation, Pediatrics, Addiction and Fertility. Dalite is certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as well as with the State of Vermont. She is also certified in Clean Needle Technique, First Aid and CPR.
Dalite has worked alongside physicians, chiropractors and massage therapists to give comprehensive care. Her background in Eastern and Western modalities allow for long-term benefits. Through treatment, education, nutritional and lifestyle modification, improvement in symptoms as well as overall long-term health goals can be achieved.
