Naturopathic Medicine

Dr. Burkland is a licensed naturopathic family physician who provides patients of all ages with comprehensive whole-person health care. He had his start in natural medicine via an in-depth apprenticeship program with an herbalist and wildcrafter immediately after graduating from college. Since that time, he has remained unceasingly fascinated with the healing potential that exists all around us in the natural world – the key lies in understanding how to access it.

Dr. Burkland received his naturopathic doctoral training at Bastyr University, from which he graduated in 2006. While attending graduate school, he also practiced as a part-time massage therapist. Dr. Burkland is currently practicing as a general family physician, utilizing primarily natural medicine.
