Sanctuary Gallery

Sanctuary Integrative Medicine works to create a harmonious environment where both patients and practioners can feel relaxed, content, and at peace. The building that serves as our new home is steeped in history — it is believed to be the original Mahoney homestead, part of the farmland on which Rutland Regional Medical Center was built. In the early sixties, two doctors purchased the farmhouse and opened the Vermont Orthopedic Clinic, selling it in 1976 to an area psychiatrist, who in turn recently sold it to Sanctuary. As such, Sanctuary Integrative Medicine shares a common heritage with Rutland’s traditional medical community, while introducing the community to an emerging, non-traditional approach to healthcare.
